The Feldenkrais Community came together - 23 strong - and had a productive
and rewarding three days at The Yoga Show and Conference in Toronto,
November 19th, 20th and 21st. Thousands of attendees visited our booth,
which was beautifully designed and built. Twenty-three practitioners, well
turned out in matching royal blue t-shirts sporting the Feldenkrais logo,
greeted interested show-goers, distributed articles, their own information,
and Directories of Feldenkrais Practitioners in Toronto and surrounding
areas. We also did numerous 10-minute Functional Integrations, answered hundreds of questions
and stirred up a lot of new interest in the work we do.
Everyone enjoyed the experience - show attendees and practitioners alike. It
was wonderful to introduce our work and share its many benefits. All in all,
it was an excellent effort and one well worth repeating. In fact we plan to
be part of The Yoga Show and Conference again next year, and to participate
in other shows as well.

Yoga Show Testimonials
November 21, 2004
This was beautifully instructed with clear cues. The effect felt in the body was sensational. Little effort to create so much change. A new pattern of moving and being in my body was learned. The workshop was inspiring. I had practiced Feldenkrais for 8 months and have experienced transformation at all levels of my life. I would love to add Feldenkrais teaching to my yoga teaching.
Robert Webber
Amazing, considering the gentle approach. Great results. Works in great combination with yoga, particularly for middle aged/older students.
E. August
After only one class, I was able to do Cobra posture without the stress in my lower back. Really improved my form.
Kathleen Davis
Very effective teaching. I enjoyed learning more about Feldenkrais and learning from another perspective from a teacher new to me. I was able to attend very carefully to my responses and kinesthetic feelings - largely due to the ease and flow of the instruction.
Susan Hartman
Interesting self-discovery on your body. After doing the class, I felt more relaxed, longer and more balanced. Often we automatically move a certain way, brining awareness to our movement and ranging is great.
Marion Schoeler
Thank you. This was the first time I could do the Cobra without pain in my lower back.
Colleen Pollreis
I am fascinated by the pertinence of the movements increasing the body's awareness and vice versa. "Une decouverte de la conscientisation du corps." Merci!
Louise Gauvreau
Absolutely wonderful. I feel more alive in my upper/thoracic spine than I ever have. It feels like it is singing.
Leslie Landry
Marion, thank you! I loved your presentation! I'm currently working towards license for massage in Maryland. Nothing compares to the openness that I experienced during your guided practice. Much gratitude.
Adam Baylus
The class helped me move in different ways that were gentle and opening. It allowed me to think about movement in a different way. Thank you.

Marion, I have never moved this way before. My "crunchie" neck has relaxed with this one hour! I enjoyed this introduction and will definitely continue to investigate further!
Nancy Allen
Interesting the opening of range of movement through such gentle small movement. Great class.
Patrick McCann
I am a "new" yoga class follower. I have been to 3 classes previously. This was a great way to start the understanding of Feldenkrais yoga.
