“Without your functional integration work on me, it would have been difficult to do the activities I love … like alpine skiing, tennis, x-country skiing and golf. We need more people like you out there to spread the good news of new methods of effective physical therapy.” – H.M. Stephenson, MD, FRCP (C)
Saturday Mini Workshop – Sleep Better Tonight
Date/Time
Date(s) - 12/09/2020
10:30 am-12:00 pm
From falling asleep to staying asleep, many of us struggle to get the restorative, healthy night’s sleep we all need.
Just as vigorous movements energize and invigorate us, slow and gentle movements engage our parasympathetic nervous system and our innate capacity to rest.
In this NEW 2-PART WORKSHOP, you will learn the specific movements which activate a parasympathetic response to quickly reduce your sense of stress and anxiety. As you slow your heart rate, lower your blood pressure and calm your mind, you also create the conditions needed for natural sleep to occur. You fall asleep, stay asleep and wake up rejuvenated and alert.
And you can take the same movements with you throughout the day so those unavoidable stressful moments don’t hijack your inner sense of calm.
JOIN US TWO SATURDAY MORNINGS IN A ROW TO EXPLORE HOW THE FELDENKRAIS METHOD CAN HELP YOU ‘SLEEP BETTER TONIGHT’.
