Your ‘Perfect’ Posture
The traditionally accepted view of good posture is for individuals to stand up straight with their chest pushed out, shoulders pulled back, and stomach sucked in. This postural habit has proven to lead to many health issues such as bad backs, poor breathing and comprised balance.
An easier and more natural path to good posture is through The Feldenkrais Method which will increase awareness and the development of a balanced use of our body.
In this guided Feldenkrais workshop Marion Harris will teach participants to:
- Discover greater body awareness
- Re-learn easy, fluid effortless movement
- Learn how balance plays a crucial role in maintaining ‘good’ posture
- Improve self-image, mood and appearance
- Enjoy improved breathing and circulation
- Realize greater comfort and mobility sitting, standing and walking
